Ella's Baptism

Ella had a beautiful Baptism this past Sunday, March 9, 2014.  We had four pews completely filled with family to help us celebrate. Pastor Mike and Pastor Chris did a  really nice job with the entire ceremony.

I couldn't help myself putting this picture in, he is such a little man!

Andrew and I know we are blessed, but this day it was completely overwhelming to look around and see our beautiful family and everyone who came to celebrate with us.

After church everyone headed to our house to eat lunch.  We were so excited to be able to fit everyone in our new home!  Yet another fabulous blessing for us this year.

It was a little windy and there were three cameras going at once.  So, if someone is looking away it's just because we didn't coordinate which camera to look at all together.  Unfortunately, my camera didn't get pictures with everyone that was there.  So, not pictured are: Aunt Janet, Nathan, Cory and Uncle Eric.  Thank you all so much for celebrating this day with us!

Blessings!

Ella Ruth - 3 months

Well, it happened again.  Ella reached another "month"-day. Time flies when you're having fun. She is such a happy baby!

She loves to suck on those fingers!

I would say the fan is her "squirrel."  We can be having a very pleasant "conversation" and then she notices the fan and it's as if I'm not even there.

I'm rarely in pictures because I like to take them, but my wonderful father-in-law, Lee, was here this weekend and he offered to take some pictures of Ella and me.  They are "precious" as he says.

In the third month of Ella's life I have learned:
(1) that even though she doesn't like to go to bed, once we get her to sleep there is an above average chance she will sleep through the night.
(2) her smile still lights up the room.
(3) she is very content to play by herself.
(4) sometimes she works so hard at playing that she just falls asleep where she is
(5) she is a talker!!
(6) she yells if she needs something, if that doesn't work she cries.
(7) she is such a trooper, she just goes along with whatever we are doing.
(8) after she eats is her happiest time.
(9) I love her more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow!

Blessings!
