This last weekend (Sept. 25-26) we had a fantastic air show in Wichita put on by McConnell Air Force Base. Well, I should probably say that we didn't actually go in to the air show because the wait to get on the bus was approximately 2 hours. We decided it wasn't worth the wait, however, we found a great location at the Cessna Activity Center, to watch all of the festivities. We were right in the flight path for the the Thunder birds and they were AMAZING! I think the next time the air show is in town we will just go straight to the Activity Center and set up our grill and start there.
